This spring silver earrings or white gold are in style. If made out of other materials they should be in soft colors of light blue, green, pink or violet. The light colors go with just about any spring wardrobe.
Gemstone earrings that are fashionable are iolite, amethyst, rose quartz, emeralds, peridots and quartz earrings. You do not have to splurge on real gemstones. There are many synthetic stones and beaded creations out there that are quite love. Tiny crystals threaded with beads are also very fashionable this year.
Lower necklines come along in the spring and earrings that are hoops look very hip this spring. This is because there is going to be a lot of seventies style clothing in evidence. Hoops threaded with gemstones are also back in style even though we have not really seen them around since th eighties.
Dangling earrings are also quite great fashionable. Once again semi-precious gemstones in a contemporary design are what you should e looking for. Very fussy looking Victorian earrings are not in stye.
Pick earrings for spring that are made from materials that are sturdy enough to withstand a more active lifestyle. A base metal of sterling silver or white gold should take you through early games of tennis or touch football.
Wear small hoop earrings or light-colored gemstone studs for daytime activities. Stay in fashion while participating in your favorite sport or activity. Additionally, small hoops and studs are okay to wear to the office.
Celebrate the nights in spring when you pick earrings that dangle and shimmer. Really fancy earrings do not have to cost an arm and a leg. Glass beads, crystal and cubic zirconia stones give a dimension of glamour in a variety of colors.
Chandelier style earrings are great for a spring event. These available in low-cost sterling silver and glass beads to high-end diamond and precious stone adornments.
If you are not sure what color of earrings to buy then try to buy a pair that matches your eyes. For instance if you have green eyes try buying an emerald or green slate color. If you have blue eyes aquamarine or sapphires will match your eyes. If your eyes are brown you can try wearing amber earrings. Hazel eyes look great next to a pair of dangling citrine stones

There is nothing wrong with sending women flowers. Men should be sent flowers on the same occasions that women are sent flowers.
For instance if the man has just had a baby girl, send him a congratulatory bouquet and don’t be afraid to stuff it with pink flowers You can send him flowers for an anniversary, a job promotion, for mourning, as a housewarming gift, as a party gift or simply to say I love you.
Many men are heterosexuals this day and can accept the gift of flowers. Greeting your men with an armful of blooms when he gets home from a hard day at work is also a nice idea. If you are a single woman and attracted to a man it is also acceptable to send flowers to his work – that is, of course, unless he is married in which case you are begging to be discovered. It also may not be a good idea to send him flowers if he works on a construction site or works in a very macho environment.
If a man is having a party or a barbecue that is a great time to send him flowers. He will appreciate the attempt to brighten up his hospitality. It is also a good excuse for him to have a really gorgeous bouquet that he would not normally buy for himself because it is too feminine. He can justify it by saying they were bought for the festivities.
There are also more masculine types of plants you can send to a man. No man will feel feminine if sent a gift of bamboo or a bonsai plant plus these types of plants are more like hobbies. A cactus is also a good choice because it is not very girly at all. Potted plants are a good idea because they can become a project for the male to cultivate.
Ultimately a man receiving flowers sees them the same way you do – as an expression of love and devotion. Even though they are supposed to be logical and analytical creatures they really do not need a justifiable occasion to receive them. Men love being surprised by flowers just as much as you do.

If you are into the symbolism of flowers and being precise about what kind of message you send by wearing them here is something that you will find interesting. The number of roses you send is just as signifigigant as their color.
If you send a rose without any thorns the smooth stem is supposed to mean “love at first sight.”
A single rose means love at first sight or it can be an affirmation of an older love as in “I still love you.”
If you give someone two roses each one represents yourself as a couple and your undying love for each other.
Three roses are sent to celebrate a couple’s one month anniversary.
Six roses sent indicate that you are infatuated with someone.
If you send a love ten roses it means that you think the other person is perfect.
If you send a dozen roses you are telling the individual to “be mine.”
Thirteen roses sent are lucky as it means “you are my best friend forever.”
If you owe someone an apology you are supposed to say it with a bundle of fifteen roses.
Twenty roses sent means deep feeling and sincerity.
A bouquet of twenty one roses means devotion and dedication.
Two dozen roses is a declaring of love– “I’m yours.”
Twenty five roses are how you say– “Congratulations.”
Three dozen roses is a floral delivery that tells the other person that you are head over heels in love.
Fifty roses express a love that knows no limits or bounds.
A rose that is sent with many thorns is more sexual in nature because it means you are piercing the heart
Of curse you can also mix color meanings with the number of roses that you are sending to create a very peronsal message of your own. If you want to make sure that the message has to do with romantic love try and keep the roses in the bouquet in the red, pink or orange hues. If it is more impersonal keep the flowers in cooler colors.
Who knew that flowers were so associated with numerology!

The difference between having a love and romance bouquet that looks dated is in the structure. The trendiest of bouquets for Spring ts are more like the ones we saw in the late seventies or early eighties. The flower arrangements are arranged in threes, wrapped with ribbon and created in a triangular compact way that resembles a teardrop.
Teardrop bouquets are a good arrangement because the compact bundle of flowers stay fresher longer. These types of bouquet are also easier to hold.
Teardrop bouquets usually feature one very large central bloom (like a glorious cabbage rose or gigantic peony) surrounded by flowers that get smaller and smaller in size (such as a cascade of calla lillies and then a cascade of calla lilies and miniature roses.) Bouquets like this in several colors can also be stunning.
The entire purpose of the teardrop is to create a very triangular shape in which the flowers are very well defined and refer to each other design-wise. The blooms are also usually all of the same variety and packed tightly with not too much old-old fashioned greenery or baby’s breath fillers.
However the most classic of teardrop bouquets for brides are constructed solely out of different sized roses or callas. They also tend to be quite monochromatic in color. For instance you might have a bouquet made out of crimson, orange and cinnamon colored calla lilies. Calla lilies are great for the construction of this type of bouquet because they come in so many colors.
However multiple colors work in these love and romance tear drop style bouquets as well. Some florist use blooms that have a bit of graduation in their blossoms to glorify the entire teardrop effect.
Often the entire bouquet or floral display is emphasized with a beautiful trailing ribbon that is either the same color or that contrasts elegantly with the color of the blooms.

It is easy to make a beautiful flower arrangement using early blooming spring flowers. They help and give our spirits a real lift and clear our path for winter.
One notable attribute of spring flowers is that they can be very fragrant. Freesia blooms smell almost like an expensive perfume. The red and orange freesia flowers tend to have a more powerful spicier scent than the white or yellow varieties.
Lilacs are also highly arommatic which come in all shades of purple, pink and white and Lily of the Valley. Lilacs look beautiful mixed in with other flowers such as peonies. However peonies do not really become widely available until June. Lilac and peony perfume for women are also going to be very trendy this spring.
If you want to fill a room with gorgeous scent try making a fragrant display that contains freesia, lilac, peonies, roses and hyacinths all together. If you can’t get the real thing, try getting one of the new air fresheners that are out.
Soft pastel colored flowers such as daffodils (Narcissus), hyacinths, and amaryllis are only in season for a short period of time—from February to April—and can really brighten up any space. Paper white type crocuses and lilies look amazing budding from a bulb that is in a glass flowerpot and filled with pebbles or glass rocks. This type of spring flower project is also a good one to do with any kids that are around because they can watch the flower grow.
Tulips make gorgeous centerpieces. You float three or four fresh flowers like daisies or brightly colored tulips in a pretty bowl or simply suspend a single flower inside a round vase. Clusters of multi-colored tulips are very festive
Double tulips can be very luxurious looking and they are cheaper than roses… An all red bouquet of double tulips can be as romantic as a dozen roses
Remember that when you bring your spring flowers inside you are bringing their optimism and freshness with you.

If you want to be trendy when sending a couple anniversary flowers you might want to stay away from the traditional blooms and be more experimental.
There are particular blooms assigned to each anniversary but when it comes to choosing your celebratory flowers you do not have to stick with tradition. There are many flowers outside the realm of the usual roses, chrysanthemums, violets and lilies that also symbolize the best qualities of a marriage such as deep love, passion, spirituality and commitment.
For instance the Amaryllis which is a tall shooting heart shaped like bloom symbolizes the deep love that one the mistress of the Greek God Hercules had for his mistress. Thus the bloom symbolizes strength and devotion.
The giant heart shaped petals of the Anthurium (sometimes called the Flamingo Flower) also symbolize love and the peace and happiness associated with a good home. They are also very sexual looking as well.
The delicate Lisiantheus is a pink flower that looks like a cross between a rose and peony and it symbolizes gratitude and appreciation for that hard to find true lover.
The Protea is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a flower that symbolizes living together until a ripe old age. It has spiky petals and speared centers. It also stands for courage and the good things in life.
Queen Anne’s Lace is a wonderful choice for an anniversary flower because it is part of the carrot family. The delicate white flowers symbolize peace, safety and sanctuary.
Rananculus is a special flower that comes in both red and yellow versions. The traditional meaning of the flower is “I am dazzled by your charms!” so it a nice gift.
Statice is a flower with tattered teensy purple blooms that symbolizes remembrance. It also smells like a rosemary plant. It is a great filler flower for any bouquet.
Sweet Peas com in all kinds of colors that are symbolic in themselves such as red (for passion), violet (for wisdom) and pink (for affection.) The meaning of the flower is “blissful pleasures” which of course as its implies agood sex life.
Peonies are traditional for the twelfth anniversary but they are so wild and lush looking that they must be included here. This lush pink bloom is the symbolic embodiment of riches, honor, good fortune and a happy marriage.
Of course throughout the years you can make bouquets of flowers symbolic to that anniversary year! Use your imagination.

If you know anything about fashion you know that it is very unfashionable to be showing much pubic hair. Removing hair from the bikini line can be a big hassle if you do not know what you are doing. It is also a messy business if you decide to use shaving creams, depilatories or waxes..
That is why most women prefer to use a small epilator for removing hair from their delicate genital area. It is simply faster. A good example of a famous mechanical epilator is the Epilady which was specifically designed for the delicate chore of removing hair from the female body.
In essence the Epilady is a small hair removal device that looks like a delicate little electric shaver with the only difference being that it does not contain any blades. Instead there are little metal coils that when rotated squeeze and then extend again in a pinching motion that grasps at the hairs and allows them to be plucked out of the body. The virtue in using this method is that it allows you to pull out many hairs at once thus saving women the tedium of plucking hairs out or having to go through the pain of waxing the hair away.
One of the benefits of using an epilator is that you can see the area where you are shaving quite clearly. However a drawback is that it is hard to do a precise design of the bikini line with it simply because the device is intended to clear a large area of skin of hair. It is not really an instrument that can create a precise design of any kind.
Many epilators don’t even work on pubic hair or leg hair unless it is about an inch long. Yet another problem is that this is not always a successful way to remove softer or downier hair. This type of hair typically grows beneath the pubic area and on the upper thighs.
One of the benefits of using and epilator is that it is so tidy to use. There are no creams to wipe up or wax strips to get rid of. The hairs are collected inside the epilator as it plucks them from your skin and then you simply empty the unit of all of it’s hairs – the same way you would a small dustbin. In fact many epilators come with a small brush that you can use to clean up any hairs that might have become trapped inside the unit.

Epilation is simply a word that means the mass temporary removal of hairs. In a single swoop this act of “mass plucking” can save you hours of time by having all of the nasty hair removed at once.
Normally hair would be removed one by one using a pair of tweezers. An epilator takes the labor right out of everything and furthermore you can take this device wherever you want – to the beach, to a hotel or into the bathtub. Just make sure that it is a waterproof epilator before you take it in the tub with you.
So just what is this trendy little device. An epilator is actually a small machine that has rotating coils that serve to grab and pinch the hairs and pull them out as they are passed out of the skin. Some types of epilators also use rotating tweezers to remove the hairs by the root.
There is another very manual way of epilating skin and that is to roll a piece of thread over the surface of the skin. You can think of epilation techniques as being a fast forward verson of these. This type of depilation is thousands of years old and is thought to have originated in ancient Egypt. They used a coil of string to trap and pull out excess hair.
Today this technique is called threading and it is a technique that you see offered in beauty salons. This type of epilation is often used to shape brows.
There are a lot of advantages to removing hair in this manner.
First of all the hair regrowth tends to be really slow. Your skin stays smooth and hair free for a couple of weeks. Yet another benefit is that the hair gets softer and easier to remove the more times you it.
The other great thing about using an electric epilator is that it is so cheap. You only have to buy an epilator once and then it pays for itself with subsequent uses. Other methods of hair removal involve investing in razors, wax, replacement blades, shaving cream and all kinds of accessories that can really add up over time.
Waxing is easiest on you if it is done by someone else. Epilation is easy even if you are doing it solo as the machine whisks over the hairs giving you no sense of anticipation about when exactly you will experience the pain of having the hairs pulled out. It happens so fast that most people barely feel a thing.

There is quite a trend lately back toward the off the shoulder wedding gown. These dresses usually have a bodice cut straight across the bust just like a 1950s prom dress. This style looks great in ivory or cream colors as it sharpens the sharp line of the cut of this style of dress. The waist is usually cinched and the skirt is usually fairly A line or cut on the bias in some way.
You even see versions of this prom style dress in off beat colors that remind you a night out in New York society such as mustard or fuschia. The snow-white version is very unusual looking with an almost Disney like flair to it. The back is sometimes finished with a nice fat bow in the back or a bustle of fabric flowers that also serves to hold a train. Sometimes you will see that fairy tale princess touch where ribbons hold up a filmy overskirt in bunches at about the level of the mid calf.
So where does this 1950s influence come from this past year? It is probably the influence of musicals like High School Musical and the movie Hairspray.
For the softest most contemporary look get this dress in a silk with a soft imprinted pattern or even a taffeta. To avoid having this style look too much like a prom dress then you should avoid wearing in light pink, lipstick red, mint or light blue colors. Also the more expensive the fabric and the less shiny it is, the less this style will look like it was meant for the prom.
According to an article in the Post Journal of Jamestown the trend now is to have two wedding dresses instead of just one. Celebrities who have already done this in 2007 include Avril Lavigne and Melania Trump. Both wore one designer’s look for the wedding and a different actual wedding gown for the reception. In Trump’s case for example it was Vera Wang and Christian Door.
You could say this is for the bride who just can’t decide on what look is best for her. For instance you may torn between looking like a Renaissance bride with long flowing hair and an empire waist gown and a sixties bride in a white mini with a hair band and go go boots. Now you can do both wedding dress looks and simply wear one during the ceremony and another at your reception…
This is a good option for the bride who has chosen an uncomfortable formal looking dress. Do you remember the ridiculous heavy drapes and ten pound head crown worn by Celine Dion at her wedding? Now there is a woman who could have used a more comfortable dress for her reception.
Wearing a second wedding dress to your reception is also a good idea if you find yourself wearing your grandmother’s antique dress and you don’t want to damage it by spilling cake or tea on it.
Of course this idea is prohibitive for those on a budget and who just can’t afford two wedding dresses. However if this trend continues it might just start being possible to actually rent a costume wedding dress for your ceremony and then wearing your second choice of design for the party.
