Most of us who wear bras know that there is almost no such thing as the perfect bra. This has inspired this particular wish list
For instance – don’t you wish that they would make a bra that is reversible. This way you could have two bras in one. A good color combination would be black and white for instance.
Another wish is that they would make a bra for plus sized girls that is more like a strapless bandeau. It is very difficult to find these bandeaus once you are over a 34 C but as global warming continues they are becoming more essential for keeping cool in the summer. The ideal bandeau would be made of a light nylon or airy fabric that stretches and that could fit easily over even the largest of breasts. It would also be nice if these bras came in different colors.
Yet another wish is that more bras were made with closings in the front. The front closing bra is just simply easier to take off and put on again (like a jacket) The current common model which features hooks and eyes has to be scooted over your head, done up and then twisted around your body to fit correctly. This type of bra is harad on people who have arthritis or problems with their flexibility.
Speaking of hooks and eyes they are quite hard on the elderly who can’t see them and who often have arthritic conditions that prevent them from doing up and undoing the hooks and eyes easily. It would be a great idea for a company to invent a brassiere specifically for the globe’s aging population of women.
It is also time that some enterprising and creative designer revamped the boring look of the fitness bra. They seem to come in very boring colors and have very non-sexy design. Is there any reason why a functional bra can’t be designed that also makes you sexy?
It would also be something if they could make a “fitness” bra that did things like measure your heart rate, temperature and other factors while you were exercising. However I am sure this futuristic item of clothing is already on the drawing board of some innovative designer.
Finally, given that so many women are at least a C cup in North America isn’t it time that more than just a handful of clothing companies started making clothing that had the bra built into it. This would not only be more comfortable for many individuals but it would also prevent such conditions as eczema and heat rash from having to wear too many clothes in the summer. Built in bra shelves also have the effect of giving clothing a sleeker and slimmer look so it is surprising that more designers have not done this on a regular basis for the mass markets. Perhaps it is because if this idea caught on there would be no bra industry left as it would not be necessary to wear one any more if bras were built into women’s clothing.

When fitting your bathing suit top you should follow the same rules that you would if you were trying on a bra. The rules apply whether you are trying on a bikini top or a one-piece suit.
First of all you should find out your bra size, as it is almost always the same as your swimsuit size. Then you need to count on trying on bathing suit sizes within at least one size on either side of what you usually wear as bathing suit manufacturers have absolutely no standards when it comes to determining breast size for a bathing suit. The result is racks and racks of swimsuits hanging in every store with bra cups and torso sizes that come in every permutation. All it seems you can do sometimes to find out if something fits is to try it on. A bathing suit is very hard to buy just by eyeing it for size.
Thankfully bathing suits are sold in two pieces in recent years. This means that if you are top heavy but have slim hips you don’t have to buy suit where there the bottoms are too big or the top is too tight. You can now select the tankini or bikini top you want and match it with the skorts, panties or thong that you would like and get a perfect fit every time.
The second rule to follow is to try and avoid buying a swimsuit that has a torso band that is too big and a breast cup that is too small. This is a common mistake that many women seem to make. They often don’t notice that their breast are bulging out of the side of the molded cup of the bathing suit until they have worn it a few hours and it starts to feel painful.
If you are buying a bathing suit that does not have a molded cup covered with fabric then make sure it is lined properly. Believe it or not some swimsuits are made merely for lying around the pool and getting a suntan and not being immersed in water. Make sure that the fabric it is made of is thick enough to cover your naughty bits when it is wet.
If you are buying a halter style top make sure that it has some kind of secure clip or tie at the back and that the straps are not made of a material that is too stretchy or slippery. This type of bathing suit has the bad habit of slipping lower and lower when you are in the water.
Finally when buying a bathing suit make sure that it fits rather snugly even when you have it hooked on the last hook. This is because the bands on the torsos of bikinis and on one-piece bathing suits tend to become looser as they get wet. You want to make sure that as the suit expands from wear and tear that you can do it up on the inner hooks to make it fit again as time goes on.

There is ordinary lingerie and then there are costumes. Dressing up in a costume is great for spicing up your love life because it gives you the freedom to play a role. In fact often the type of costume lingerie that you choose tells your lover about your personality’s secret alter ego.
The nurse costume is very very popular. You can find your own by going to a vintage shop or used clothing outlet and finding one that fits. Just make sure you pair it with fishnet stockings and a high pair of white heels. You can also buy them on the Internet. By far the most popular nurse’s costume is the one made of rubber. For an added touch of humor fill an enema bag with alcohol and feed it to your lover as you nurse him.
French maid costumes are a fetish that is as old as the idea of a French maid. These black and white costumes are mini dresses that often come with a little duster, garter and fish net stockings. Some of them have bustiers that completely cup and expose the breasts.
The Heidi Costume originates back to about World War One. This look is augmented by blonde pigtails and includes a little checkered mini skirt and apron, a girlish bodice and of course, white frilly panties that bring out the Lolita in you.
A woman wearing a truncated version of a formal military costume is also a popular fetish. These costumes often include a rakish hat, a jacket with brass buttons and cute boy shorts.
Sex experts say that men have a primal desire for women who wear furry ears or baubles on top of their heads. This is also why men are so turned on by pigtails. Any costume that makes you look like a cat or a bunny is sure to arouse your lover. Popular examples of this are latex Cat woman costumes and the traditional Playboy Bunny Costume.
Another sure turn on is the cheerleader costume. This brings out the side of the man that has the Lolita complex. You can purchase sexy cheerleader costumes at specialty sex boutiques and at sports supply stores.
Dressing like a witch is also a turn on for men. This is because a witch is supposed to be a creature that makes a man feel powerless. There is something very sexy about being at the mercy of a beautiful woman who has the power to compel you to do her bidding with her eyes. Sexy witch costumes can be short or long. Many of them are made from sheer chiffon like black material that reveals breasts and thighs.
Sometimes you don’t need a costume. Sometimes something as simple as a cotton white nightie or even wearing a pair of his underwear instead of your own is enough to turn a man on.
If you are short on money, use your imagination. Almost any item you have in your closet can be turned into a costume with a little imagination and the right mix and matching of accessories.

When most people think about lingerie they think of “naughty” or erotic lingerie. Not all lingerie is sexy but somehow the word brings images of Marlene Dietrich or Fredrick’s of Hollywood to mind. Lingerie that is naughty tends to have the odd little detail such as a no crotch or a front fastening bra that can be undone quickly.
Whether or not the lingerie is naughty might be a matter of personal taste in erotic garments but usually the cut and form of the lingerie is quite sparse. Of aside from being supportive they are also aesthetic garments. The time that most people go looking for this sexy type of lingerie is when it is time to go on a honeymoon. Brides to be often receive this type of lingerie at their showers and sometimes the groom will buy his new bride new exotic lingerie to wear during the honeymoon.
The safest sexy colors in lingerie are always going to be black, white, pink or red. However nowadays you can get lingerie in just about every color of the rainbow including purple, orange, fuchsia, violet and lavender. Prints are common too including ones that parody national flags, Playboy bunnies and other sexy motifs.
Erotic lingerie comes in many different types of factices include lace, satin, PVC, silk, sheer mesh, fur and leather. You can even get lingerie in metal mesh and chain designs nowadays.
If you are buying lingerie for yourself the simplest thing to remember is to choose lingerie that shows off your best assets. Not everyone looks good in the same style or color. Also different styles of lingerie do a good job of coercing up different body flaws. For instance women with wider hip will want to avoid wearing lingerie with tight fitted waistlines. They will want to choose straight cut panties instead of high cut ones. Lower cut waists and baby dolls with fabric draping from the bra are also figure flattering. Bustier styles should be avoided if you do not have a trim waist.
You should avoid bikini styles and corsets if you have a huge belly as you might end up emphasizing it. Instead choose a major push up bra so the focus is there instead of on a thick waist. If you have heavy upper arms you can buy sheer cropped jackets with bell sleeves.
Shorter women look best in lingerie styles with shorter hems. If you do choose a long robe or gown choose one that has a slit up the side of the leg, which can make you look taller. Wearing a pair of high heel slippers can also help lingerie look sexier on a shorter woman.
Tall women can look more in proportion by choosing lingerie that has a tie around the weight. Shorter or baby dolls styles also look absolutely incredible on tall women. This is because these shorter styles give focus to the longer leg.

One of the sexiest and also most common fabrics used for lingerie is satin. It is a shiny, soft and sensuous fabric that most people find erotic. It is also comfortable enough for every day wear. Satin clings to your body like a second skin and most people barely notice they are wearing it.
Unfortunately satin lingerie can be a little bit on the high maintenance side. This is because satin is actually a kind of silk. It is in fact the most expensive kind of silk which is why satin underwear can be so expensive. One of the reasons the fabric is so preferable is because it is a finely meshed fabric that can help provide some support to the garment while at the same time allowing the skin to breathe.
Good quality satin is easier to care for than bad quality satin. You can tell the best quality satin fabric by running your hand over it and squeezing it. If the lingerie cannot form a crease when you do this then it is a high quality silk satin. Imitation and synthetic satins will form creases for the most part and are easier to care for then the real thing. They are also often cheaper than real satin whether they be baby dolls, half-slips and camisoles.
If you paid a great deal of money for your piece of satin lingerie then it is probably a good idea to get it dry-cleaned. However sometimes the manufacturer’s instructions on a piece of satin lingerie will tell you that you can hand wash it or even machine wash it. However machine washing is only really allowed for pieces made out of fake satin or some kind of polyester blend that mimics the look and feel of silk.
Usually you can spare yourself the expense of dry cleaning and launder your satin under things in the sink by hand. The key is to be super gentle. You should never rub or abrade the fabric with your hands, soap or anything else or the fibers in the satin could break down. This could cause a loss of color in the fabric. The same is true treating satin lingerie that has stains. Instead of rubbing them use a dry cloth or napkin to wipe the stain away and then bring it to a dry cleaner. It can be very difficult to remove a stain from saint so usually a professional treatment is required.
To avoid damaging satin lingerie some people actually hang it up on a padded hanger. This is especially recommended for lingerie you will not be wearing for a while. If you fold or ball up real satin lingerie it could develop creases over time. You should also avoid letting the satin be exposed to too much humidity. Moths are also problem; as they love to munch on satin so be aware of this if your home is plagued with these common pests.

Long ago plus size women weren’t caught dead in lingerie. One of the reasons why is it was not made in their size. Sexy lingerie was strictly relegated to women with the type of body that might appear in Playboy. For that matter thin women did not wear much lingerie either as it did not really suit their figures.
Times have changed, especially in the last decade and now there are all kinds of padded versions of sexy lingerie for thin women (to give them an uplifted butt and a flatter tummy.) Gone are the days too when plus sized or flat cheated women were seen as being too embarrassed to buy lingerie.
However the most progressive strides in the lingerie industry have been made when it comes making plus size lingerie available to all kinds of different women. It is now designed to make larger women feel more confident about buying it. Many plus lingerie designers have also become quite clever about how they work to accentuate good parts of your body.
Lingerie designers have been quite creative when it comes to styling lingerie cut that is flattering to women with fuller figures. Panties with in built girdles have become popular, as have baby doll style bra tops with sheer coverings that can help conceal a larger belly. Corsets and bra sets are also available in tandem with cover-ups with bell sleeves that cover up saggy or plump arms or sheer skirts that extend over the thighs and rear end.
Plus size lingerie is also made sometimes in heavier materials that have more of a cover up factor to them. Heavy satins, brocades, velvets, feathers and furs are often part of the clever design of plus size lingerie.
When shopping for plus size lingerie be sure to wear a snugger outfit, as that will help you determine how effective the lingerie is at making your figure look sexier. It will also just give you more of an idea of how the new plus size lingerie that you are trying on in the change room will look beneath your clothing. If you wear a slightly tighter outfit you will also be able to see how the lingerie can augment or flatter your figure in any way. So be sure to try on the lingerie and then put the clothes back on so you can check out this type of effect thoroughly.
It is important to shop for both comfort and visual appeal but the durability of lingerie is also very important. The plus size lingerie that takes the most wear and tear without damage is made out of Lycra, Spandex or cotton. This is also the easiest type of lingerie to clean without damaging it or having to take it to a dry cleaner for an expensive treatment. High quality plus size lingerie will also have a breathable fabric as part of their construction that helps wick moisture away from the skin.

Not everyone needs to wear support lingerie when they are active athletically. However very few people are immune to the bouncing of their breasts when they jog. As a rule of thumb, the more plus size you are, the more likely you are to need support lingerie. In fact most support lingerie comes in all plus-sizes as the industry realizes the need for larger women to wear structured clothing to help minimize the effects of high impact exercise.
The most common types of support lingerie for sports are support tops and sports caprice. Athletic stretch points are also popular because they help hold the tummy in and make you look thinner. The tight garment also supports your back muscles so you have less chance of developing challenges due to carrying too much weight. The most comfortable athletic pants have a slight flare to the leg to allow for freedom of movement and a wide soft waistband that is complimented by a drawstring (so you can keep your pants up while you lose weight.)
The Capri version of athletic pants help decrease the sensation of impact and also your ligaments. Some heavier women also like to wear Capri pants, as they can look quite fashionable. They also make your ankles look slimmer.
Some women with very large breasts may find it necessary to wear two sports bras to feel they are the most comfortable. This is not a bad idea for women who are anywhere up from double D to G in size as jogging or biking can truly be uncomfortable. Of course if you do not want to layer the Lycra style support bras as some manufactures make sports bras for full figured women that have special molding and support.
Women with larger breasts also seem to sweat more so you might want to find bras that have a mesh lining or that are made out of special fabrics that help wick away sweat from the body.
Many supportive tees nowadays are made with Lycra which ha a very natural ability to wick moisture away from the skin. This fabric is also cooler than cotton and stretches so that it can be worn by just about anyone. This type of T-shirt is also nice enough to wear out as a sexy top as they are form fitting and show off the body. One tip is to buy a tighter size than you need and this will actually provide additional support to the stomach, back and breast area. Also when it comes to Lycra shirts the short-sleeved versions are usually most comfortable.
Of course the more wire in the sports bra that you wear while exercising the more supported and safe from bouncing you will be while you are on the stair stepper or doing aerobics. You can also get Power briefs that help decrease the feeling of jouncing in the upper thighs. With both clothing items it is important that they fit tightly but not so tightly that circulation is cut off in any ways.
