Trendy Wedding Hair
This fall trending wedding hair styles tend to be up dos that have a bit of a formal or seventies flair. This means some of the vintage hair styles are coming back. Warning – these types of trendy hairstyles require patience and a lot of gel or hairspray in order to eventually achieve what is described as a “natural look.”
If you’re wedding is more formal than you are going to want to consider a more classic hair style. Visualize how Audrey Hepburn looked in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and you get the idea of what it should look like. As it is a very basic hairstyle taught in beauty school most hair stylist can do it.
It is also a nice touch to send all of your bridesmaids to the same stylist to get the same look. If you are going to have a fluffed up hair doo that is backcombed all of your bridesmaids might as well have that as well.
Backcombed wedding hair is very trendy in general. The version for this decade is a little more organic looking and messy. Sections of the hair would be twisted so that the bobby pins would be invisible.
Traditionally tiara is usually set between the bangs and the crown of the head where the hair puffs up after back combing. Some brides prefer not to wear a sparkling tiara with this type of style but instead wear a headband or even a few simple flowers to accentuate the style.
There is also a version of this hair do that is more swept up. It is created with a curling iron so that there are loose curls all over the head. The idea here too is that the bobby pins can show. This is why it is good to accentuate the look with pins that have rhinestones on them. This is so a bit of sparkle happens when you turn your head and the fake stones catch the light.
Both of these trendy wedding styles also looks good not decorated with anything but a pair of pearl or diamond earrings. Yet another take on these semi-beehive styles is to simply take one very large flower and stick it beside your ears.
This vintage style of hairdo is very trendy nowadays and you are certain to make a very contemporary and stylish impression as you walk down the aisle boasting this beautiful old style.
Admittedly this look is much more suited towards winter weddings where additional hair dressing looks the most appropriate. It also looks best with a heavier red or gold velvet dress or with a dress that is made out of white lace.
These hip wedding hair looks are very Star Trek. Think of one of the episodes of Star Trek where the crew ends up in the middle ages and you will get an idea of what your hair is supposed to look like.
